On 11 June, the Knowledge Foundation will host a digital Q&A for those interested in the special initiative on doctoral exchange at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.
Among the participants is Laila Adelson, a doctoral student at Blekinge Institute of Technology, who is currently based at Stanford. She will share her experiences of both Stanford and the United States and can answer practical questions, for example about the visa process, opening a bank account and obtaining a US Social Security Number (SSN).
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the application process and project design, as well as more general questions about Stanford and the university’s research and education.
Participants
- Jimmy Chen, Managing Director, Stanford Global Institutional Partnerships
- Laila Adelson, Doctoral Student, Blekinge Institute of Technology
- Maria Dollhopf, Programme Manager, the Knowledge Foundation
The Q&A session is aimed at those considering applying to the Knowledge Foundation’s call for doctoral exchange at Stanford and who would like to gain a clearer understanding ahead of the application deadline on 23 June.
